SOS is a very easy-to-use kit with straightforward instructions on the box as well as a how-to video to be found on our social media platforms.

SOS is for soft gel only, NOT for acrylics, hard gels or hybrids.

Each kit contains:

1 buffer block, 30 pre-cut foils, 30ml Soak off Solution, 1 cuticle stick and 1ml cuticle oil.

SOS (part of Split End Distribution Pty Ltd) is a small, female-owned Cape Town based business. SOS was launched at the Joburg Professional Beauty Expo in September 2018 and it has been on the market in South Africa since then.

Each SOS retail kit contains three soak-offs. It is a professional gel polish soak-off packaged for home use. The product was borne from a need for an alternative to having to go into the salon for a soak-off, it is a product of convenience and simplicity.

It eliminates having to make the phone call, drive to the salon, pay for parking, all for a 15min soak-off which often leaves many people trying to remove it themselves. It’s very tempting, when the gel starts to lift, to pick at it, peel and bite it off. This removes not only the gel polish but a layer of your nail too, causing damaged and weak nails.
